Rev. Melvin McCaleb is the Senior Pastor of Second Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Jefferson City, Missouri. Licensed to preach in 1992, he brings more than 30 years of faithful ministry and 14 years of pastoral leadership. Pastor McCaleb is a Spirit-led preacher known for his dynamic delivery, heartfelt worship, and biblical teaching. A gifted vocalist and dedicated teacher, he carries a genuine passion for outreach, evangelism, and strengthening the local church to serve both the sanctuary and the community.

 

Family is central to Pastor McCaleb’s life and ministry. He is the devoted husband of First Lady JaQuisha McCaleb, a proud father, and a loving grandfather. With a special heart for youth, he is committed to nurturing the next generation—helping young people discover their identity in Christ, walk in purpose, and grow in faith with confidence and character.
